MASSAGE LAWS: Mobile Laws In Place
BOARD OF BARBERING & COSMETOLOGY CONSUMER AFFAIRS:
We have had the language clarified on what is allowed and what is not allowed. We are and have been operating within the scope of care, but could better define some policies to specifically reflect the laws and actually place them on our paperwork. We will be implementing these insights. I will be blogging the letter of the law that I gathered for the last week, directly by the regulations committee.
They were a pleasure to work with. I have been given great care and am thrilled with the fact that SOON, BY THE END OF THIS YEAR - MOBILE SALON WORKERS WILL BE FREE TO PRACTICE OUTSIDE OF A SALON... WOW - Thanks Governor Newsom, you are a terrific representative of the workers in California and their right to work, once licensed, where they can and want to if they adhere to regulations. Great JOB!
So - we are going to take the place of caution while these new regulations are roled out (we will pause services that are in the grey area and wait for them to be in the green)...
and we are going to thank and respect ALL OF YOU WHO PROVIDED MOBILE COMPANIES AND HAVING MOBILE SERVICES IT WAS ALL OF US THAT CREATED A MARKET AND SHOWED A NEED TO THE STATE FOR MORE JOB SELECTION TO THE WORKERS.
I'm so proud to be part of this moment in the industry of salon workers and their long overdue freedoms.
So, we are on board to continue - there are a few new policies - please check our website and you will see the policies reflected as "new and continuing"
